You can continue to enjoy videos on Youtube, emails on Gmails, and hilarious Facebook posts on your timeline, and other services like you normally would, while Stands will not generally allow ads that on these sites yet.
Stands uses custom rules prepared to the unique way different platforms serve ads:
YouTube: Stands features a built-in "Ad Skipper" that detects pre-roll and mid-roll video ads at the network level, bypassing them seamlessly so your videos stream uninterrupted.
Facebook: Social media platforms embed ads directly into your timeline ("In-Feed" ads). Stands scripts identify these sponsored structural elements and remove them without breaking your feed layout.
Gmail: Stands strips out the promotional banner ads at the top of your inbox tabs, leaving you with a clean email interface.
Search Engines (Google, Bing, etc.): Stands filters out sponsored search results. However, if you want to support search engines, you can customize this behavior in your settings panel.
